LOS ANGELES (August 14, 2014) — City Clerk Holly Wolcott announced that the Official Canvass of the August 12, 2014 LAUSD, Board District 1 Special Election is nearing completion. The final ballot tally is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. Following the final tally, the City Clerk will officially certify the results and prepare a report for the City Council to declare the results.
The final tally will take place in the Office of the City Clerk - Election Division, Space 375 of Piper Technical Center located at 555 Ramirez Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.

The Office of the City Clerk - Election Division administers elections for the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles Community College District. The City's next regularly scheduled Municipal Elections will be held on March 3, 2015 and May 19, 2015.
