President Barack Obama praised "America's sons and daughters who answered their country's call" in proclaiming Nov. 11, 2014, as Veterans Day, noting that Americans "recognize the sacrifice of those who have been part of the finest fighting force the world has ever known and the loved ones who stand behind them."
