U.S. Army Spc. Gary Elce measures part of a beam that will support a new roofing project for the for the turn-in point and mortuary affairs workspaces in Kabul, Afghanistan, Oct. 7, 2014. Elce is assigned to the Oregon Army National Guard's Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment.
